Dear Ontario Nature,
it is more important now than ever before that we stop being afraid, we must stop living from a state of fear of hemp. Hemp is the most useful versatile plant in the world, you name it, hemp can do it, there is almost nothing this plant cannot do, thats why it was given to us – SO WE COULD LEAVE THE TREES ALONE. But here is the kicker: nine out of ten people do not have a clue because Ontario Nature, for one, is not educating them, that is not poor leadership – that is no leadership at all.

The rich history of hemp spans millennia, weaving through cultures and civilizations worldwide. From its origins in ancient China, where it was cultivated for textiles and paper, to its integral role in maritime exploration during the Age of Discovery, hemp has left an indelible mark on human history. Its versatility as a fiber, food source, and medicinal plant has fueled innovation and sustained societies for centuries. As we navigate the challenges of the modern world, understanding and honouring hemp’s historical legacy can guide us toward a more sustainable and interconnected future.
